Green Purple Smoothie

When you pair blueberries and spinach you get a combination of the nitrates that are present in spinach help your muscles work efficiently and the antioxidants in blueberries ease oxidative stress and inflammation in response to exercise. Combine these two healthy plants into your diet and you have a POWERFUL SHAKE!

1 cup coconut water
One half cup plain yogurt or almond milk
1 Cup packed spinach (organic)
1 Tablespoon Honey
1 cup frozen blueberries (organic or wild)
add ice if needed

Blend until smooth!
